Alex Madonna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelo Vasconcelos, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Marcelo Vasconcelos hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Frisco Gómez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dennis Stumpo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th match minute, Arsenal MGK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Al Pištěk to maneuver through the defense. When Marcelo Vasconcelos came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Arsenal MGK fans jumped to their feet. Villa Gordiani's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arsenal MGK the free kick. Carter Di Rocco kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Villa Gordiani's zone, Marcelo Vasconcelos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alex Madonna came out of the goal and Marcelo Vasconcelos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcelo Vasconcelos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Frisco Gómez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natã de Salles, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Philippe Albert charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Philippe Albert the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Arsenal MGK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
