After a defensive mix-up in Salud y República's zone, İstemihan Akcebe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Carlos Suciu came out of the goal and İstemihan Akcebe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Juan Carlos Suciu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roman Wojton in the 15th minute of the match. In the 18th minute İstemihan Akcebe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Carlos Suciu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abdika Philip fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaltino Baptista having to interfere. The coaching staff of Salud y República protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Nisio Riba had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Salud y República's Juan Carlos Suciu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 50th minute of the match, managed to save Salud y República from getting a goal against them. Robert Budrewicz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Juan Carlos Suciu made a huge save. A collision led to ᗩᔕᒪᗩᑎғᴋ getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Yavuz Bülent Sertel hit a great ball. ᗩᔕᒪᗩᑎғᴋ's Esen Sevimli was substituted for Ali Demirci. ᗩᔕᒪᗩᑎғᴋ's Friedhold Jungbauer was substituted for Alkın Kose. After a rather tough play, ᗩᔕᒪᗩᑎғᴋ's Yavuz Bülent Sertel got a free kick in the 76th minute. İstemihan Akcebe who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Juan Carlos Suciu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Juan Carlos Suciu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İstemihan Akcebe in the 86th minute of the match. Salud y República's Juan Carlos Suciu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İstemihan Akcebe in the 91st minute of play. Salud y República had won after a very even match.
