After 2 played minutes Rakkestad IF got a freekick which was hit by Gunnar Ophus. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Timo Jõeäär managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Hiiu Pallurid's supporters rose to their feet, but Timo Jõeäär was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Linus Todal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 7 minutes into the game, Ants Ruut was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Hiiu Pallurid's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rakkestad IF the free kick. In the 8th minute, Ants Ruut hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 10 minutes of play, FC Hiiu Pallurid's Ants Ruut made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Linus Todal was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 13 played minutes Rakkestad IF got a freekick which was hit by Kjell Bergum. Albert Konrad took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 14th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Linus Todal. Rakkestad IF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Hans-Petter Frigstad blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Laur Vana having to make a save. FC Hiiu Pallurid's Laur Vana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gunnar Ophus in the 20th minute of play. Laur Vana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Otto Klepp in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Jim-André Øvsthus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Aadu Klaas managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Hiiu Pallurid's supporters rose to their feet, but Aadu Klaas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Linus Todal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 35 minutes into the game, Rakkestad IF's Hans-Petter Frigstad nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Laur Vana made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The supporters of Rakkestad IF booed when FC Hiiu Pallurid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evert Kalmus didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hans-Petter Frigstad in the 39th minute of play forced FC Hiiu Pallurid's goalkeeper Laur Vana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Hiiu Pallurid's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Runar Nergaard was slow to take the kick. During this time Rakkestad IF's players had a chance to rest. Gunnar Ophus might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Laur Vana. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gunnar Ophus ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Rakkestad IF's Kjell Bergum got a free kick in the 46th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ants Ruut to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, FC Hiiu Pallurid's goalkeeper Laur Vana had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Otto Klepp. In the 53rdth minute of the game Hans-Petter Frigstad who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Hiiu Pallurid's Laur Vana was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ants Ruut kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Laur Vana stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hans-Petter Frigstad's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hans-Petter Frigstad in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Laur Vana saved FC Hiiu Pallurid from getting behind. The supporters of Rakkestad IF booed when FC Hiiu Pallurid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ants Ruut didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th minute, Kaspar Alp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Hans-Petter Frigstad's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Laur Vana was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. After some careless play in the FC Hiiu Pallurid defense, Hans-Petter Frigstad kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Laur Vana. The FC Hiiu Pallurid fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Laur Vana should have stopped the shot. Laur Vana made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Gunnar Ophus sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Otto Klepp got free with Laur Vana in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hans-Petter Frigstad succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 75th playminute. After 78 played minutes Rakkestad IF got a freekick which was hit by Kjell Bergum. FC Hiiu Pallurid's Laur Vana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gunnar Ophus in the 80th minute of play. Otto Klepp's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Laur Vana read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gunnar Ophus got free with Laur Vana in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kjell Bergum hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 91st match minute, Rakkestad IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Birger Ramberg to maneuver through the defense. Linus Todal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ants Ruut in the 92nd minute of the match.
