Skarpa Ełk's Jedrzej Grucza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Hellkvist in the 6th minute of play. Skarpa Ełk's Jedrzej Grucza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Skarpa Ełk from getting a goal against them. Östen Walroth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Korneliusz Narbut in the 22nd minute of the match. A collision led to AC Mayonnaise getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Edmund Runberg hit a great ball. Arne Njurenius's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jedrzej Grucza firmly grabbed it by the left post. Östen Walroth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stefan Banas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jedrzej Grucza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmund Runberg in the 32nd minute of play. With a little luck, Skarpa Ełk's Jedrzej Grucza got control of the ball when Arne Njurenius tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 36 minutes Skarpa Ełk's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner.
