Spectators: 7481 (Terracing: 5612, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 149) C T Futebol Clube's Aílton Novaes started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Flávio Vander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Östen Walroth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AC Mayonnaise's Östen Walroth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flávio Vander in the 6th minute of play. Flávio Vander scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Östen Walroth, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flávio Vander in the 18th minute of play forced AC Mayonnaise's goalkeeper Östen Walroth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kjell-Arne Lindberg kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Walter Mårtensson hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the match, Aílton Novaes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Östen Walroth. AC Mayonnaise's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aílton Novaes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Östen Walroth came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by C T Futebol Clube's Aílton Novaes. But to his dismay, Aílton Novaes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Allan Lopez didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 35th minute, which inside left pole to 1-3. In the 41st minute, Christopher Dahlberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christopher Dahlberg was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 46 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in AC Mayonnaise fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 46th minute. Penalty! In the 48th minute there was a penalty for C T Futebol Clube. Aílton Novaes stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Östen Walroth. 1-5. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edmund Runberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Östen Walroth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flávio Vander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes into the match, AC Mayonnaise's goalkeeper Östen Walroth had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aílton Novaes. In the 65th minute, Flávio Vander ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Östen Walroth was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. The crowd rose to their feet as Aílton Novaes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Östen Walroth. That made the score 1-7 in the 69 minute of play. Aílton Novaes succeeded in the game's 75th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-8. A collision led to AC Mayonnaise getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Mattias Kilstedt hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute, Aílton Novaes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C T Futebol Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-9. 88 minutes into the match, AC Mayonnaise's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo José Capixaba came free, but Östen Walroth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flávio Vander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The AC Mayonnaise supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching C T Futebol Clube's performance. The match ended with a win for C T Futebol Clube.
