Östen Walroth came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Barrenta SC's Sydney Carioca. But to his dismay, Sydney Carioca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 12 minutes into the game, Sydney Carioca cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Östen Walroth was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hugo Gerber's late challenge caught a AC Mayonnaise's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hugo Gerber helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Barrenta SC's Hugo Gerber got a free kick in the 14th minute. Östen Walroth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walmyr Lira, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. AC Mayonnaise's Östen Walroth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Sabóia in the 21st minute of play. Östen Walroth stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sydney Carioca's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Östen Walroth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sydney Carioca, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After 22 played minutes AC Mayonnaise got a freekick which was hit by Edmund Runberg. In the 25th minute, Sydney Carioca made a precise shot to the right of Östen Walroth. AC Mayonnaise's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Östen Walroth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walmyr Lira in the 33rd minute of the match. Edgar Trigo was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Edmund Runberg capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edmund Runberg really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Östen Walroth stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sydney Carioca's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Östen Walroth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomás Braga in the 41st minute of the match. After 43 minutes, Sydney Carioca made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. AC Mayonnaise's Östen Walroth tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Barrenta SC's Edgar Trigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmund Runberg in the 46th minute of play. In the 46th match minute, Barrenta SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jânio Lopez to maneuver through the defense. The AC Mayonnaise players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Barrenta SC were winning 1-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arne Njurenius to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Barrenta SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Sabóia to maneuver through the defense. Sune Sjöö recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 54th match minute, AC Mayonnaise was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmund Runberg to maneuver through the defense. The referee felt a red card was in order, 55 minutes into the game, when Jonny Cane put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 54th minute of the game. One of AC Mayonnaise:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Barrenta SC:s goal. A hard shot 57 in the game by Sydney Carioca from a close distance when the talented Östen Walroth managed to make a qualified save. AC Mayonnaise's players were relieved. Östen Walroth was a little too slow when Walmyr Lira got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 1-5. In the 65th minute, Sydney Carioca made a precise shot to the right of Östen Walroth. AC Mayonnaise's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-6. Barrenta SC made a substitution. Luiz Fábio Lima replaced Thomás Braga. Östen Walroth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sydney Carioca in the 76th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, Barrenta SC's goal looked a bit too open when Erik Hellkvist came free, but Edgar Trigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute Barrenta SC were awarded a corner. Hugo Gerber went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Barrenta SC's Joel Sabóia getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Östen Walroth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sydney Carioca in the 87th minute of the match. Paulo José Azevedo took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Östen Walroth. Östen Walroth dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-7. In the 94th minute of the match Barrenta SC got a corner. AC Mayonnaise's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hugo Gerber ran over to the corner to take the kick. Hugo Gerber made a great header on Barrenta SC's corner, it was just that AC Mayonnaise's Östen Walroth managed to reach the ball for a save. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Barrenta SC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
