A collision led to Onsala Ass Kickers getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Jan Björnberg hit a great ball. Jotautas Gutauskas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walter Jönsson in the 15th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Valdemaras Alukas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rickard Wiklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Magnus Björkqvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jotautas Gutauskas. Kings's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Magnus Björkqvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Magnus Björkqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 28 minutes, Mikael Alebäck mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Onsala Ass Kickers and the Kings players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 28 played minutes Onsala Ass Kickers got a freekick which was hit by Mikael Alebäck. 32 minutes into the match, Magnus Björkqvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jotautas Gutauskas. Kings's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Magnus Björkqvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Jens-Åke Haeger kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Herkus Survila shot from long distance in the 44th minute, but Rickard Wiklund was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. After the first half Onsala Ass Kickers were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Walter Jönsson to make the kick off. Algirdas Kšanavičius hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After 56 played minutes, Onsala Ass Kickers's Johannes Målare shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jotautas Gutauskas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Onsala Ass Kickers reached it. Magnus Björkqvist struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Jotautas Gutauskas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Onsala Ass Kickers. Jotautas Gutauskas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Magnus Björkqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. When Walter Jönsson came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Onsala Ass Kickers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Walter Jönsson couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Walter Jönsson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jotautas Gutauskas. That made the score 0-3 in the 85 minute of play. Onsala Ass Kickers's Rickard Wiklund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romualdas Kaušpadas in the 90th minute of play. After 90 played minutes Onsala Ass Kickers got a freekick which was hit by Jens-Åke Haeger. After having played for 91 minutes, Valdemaras Alukas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kings's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valdemaras Alukas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Rimvydas Jagminas fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kings's protests and gave Rimvydas Jagminas a yellow card for diving instead. Rimvydas Jagminas kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match.
