In the 15th minute of the match S O B E R A N O CIMZ got a corner. GKS Milenium's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cafu Soberano ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to S O B E R A N O CIMZ's David Kröger getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. If Filip Maziarz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hélio da Rocha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ksawery Kaszubowski in the 23rd minute of the match. 24 minutes into the game, Filip Maziarz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Hélio da Rocha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hélio da Rocha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrzej Gozdowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Filip Maziarz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hélio da Rocha having to make a save. In the 46th minute Witold Burdalski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hélio da Rocha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to S O B E R A N O CIMZ getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Cafu Soberano hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half.
