Spectators: 7474 (Terracing: 5607, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 149) Ryszard Rutkowski made the kick off and thus started the match. After having played for 7 minutes, Ksawery Kaszubowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GKS Milenium's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ksawery Kaszubowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. GKS Milenium's Edmund Solak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Demetrio Borrelli in the 11th minute of play. Ryszard Rutkowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bruno Carciofo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, GKS Milenium's goal looked a bit too open when Ennio Grasso came free, but Edmund Solak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edmund Solak came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Cesate's Carlo Cirulli. But to his dismay, Carlo Cirulli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, Cesate's Antonio Talone got a free kick in the 44th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Demetrio Borrelli to strike the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the game, Adriano Di Marco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cesate's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GKS Milenium the free kick. After 58 played minutes Cesate got a freekick which was hit by Adriano Di Marco. Ennio Grasso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edmund Solak having to make a save. GKS Milenium's Tomasz Gdowski got his second yellow card of the match in the 71st minute. The referee ordered Tomasz Gdowski off the ground. The supporters of Cesate booed when GKS Milenium was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomasz Gdowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 76 in the game by Ennio Grasso from a close distance when the talented Edmund Solak managed to make a qualified save. GKS Milenium's players were relieved. Edmund Solak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ennio Grasso, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Edmund Solak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesare Capasso in the 81st minute of the match. 82 minutes into the game, Ksawery Kaszubowski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GKS Milenium's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cesate the free kick. In the 82nd minute, Ksawery Kaszubowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 89 played minutes GKS Milenium got a freekick which was hit by Wincent Penczkowski. Adriano Di Marco shot from long distance after 90 played minutes, a shot that Edmund Solak with certain difficulty stopped from going in under the crossbar. Boguslaw Jastrowicz was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 92 minutes into the match. When Filip Maziarz fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GKS Milenium's protests and gave Filip Maziarz a yellow card for diving instead.
