Giorgos Dogramadzhiev hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Alberto Refugio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 20 minutes into the game, Estrellas de Caballito's Alberto Refugio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Giorgos Nifitsas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Alberto Refugio struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Giorgos Nifitsas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Estrellas de Caballito. After a rather tough play, Estrellas de Caballito's Ciriaco Afonso got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Nunez Astudillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Trifon Chalkias, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Trifon Chalkias in the 34th minute of play forced Estrellas de Caballito's goalkeeper Nunez Astudillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 57th minute, one of TZITZIFIES:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for TZITZIFIES. Igor Erruki placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Higinio Luzea during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Higinio Luzea kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Theofanis Trigonakis kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After having played for 63 minutes, Higinio Luzea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Estrellas de Caballito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Higinio Luzea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. TZITZIFIES were furious when Argyris Tripolitis was red carded, 65 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 65th minute of the game. One of TZITZIFIES:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Estrellas de Caballito:s goal. The referee gave Estrellas de Caballito a penalty, 67 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Igor Erruki, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of TZITZIFIES's Giorgos Nifitsas. 3-0. Nikos Akrividis hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Estrellas de Caballito's Alberto Refugio got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Giorgos Nifitsas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeronimo Bento in the 83rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Estrellas de Caballito's Ciriaco Afonso got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 87th play minute Giorgos Dogramadzhiev came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Nunez Astudillo. 3-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Higinio Luzea in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Giorgos Nifitsas saved TZITZIFIES from getting behind. When Higinio Luzea came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Estrellas de Caballito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Higinio Luzea couldn't finish the play. Theofanis Trigonakis kicked well hit freekick during the 99th minute of the match. A collision led to Estrellas de Caballito getting a freekick after 101 minutes play. Benicio Mateo hit a great ball. When the referee ended the match the Estrellas de Caballito players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
