The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. DS ACADEMY TEAM's Lukasz Zaworski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacobo Herauso in the 8th minute of play. Jacobo Herauso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Lukasz Zaworski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, DS ACADEMY TEAM's goalkeeper Lukasz Zaworski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jacobo Herauso. After recieving a nice pass, Unidad de Matanza's Jacobo Herauso tried to score from far away in the 13th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 16 played minutes DS ACADEMY TEAM got a freekick which was hit by Edward Lichucki. Lukasz Zaworski made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Jacobo Herauso sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Edward Lichucki managed to get in a good position for a shot. DS ACADEMY TEAM's supporters rose to their feet, but Edward Lichucki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gregorio Garikoitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leon Klawki kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Unidad de Matanza's Nunez Savier got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 28th minute, Hugo Rioja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to DS ACADEMY TEAM getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Michal Mietus hit a great ball. Nunez Savier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nunez Savier got free with Lukasz Zaworski in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 44 minutes into the match, Jacobo Herauso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lukasz Zaworski. DS ACADEMY TEAM's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jacobo Herauso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After having played for 47 minutes, Jacobo Herauso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Unidad de Matanza's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacobo Herauso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Edward Lichucki made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Jacobo Herauso made a precise shot to the right of Lukasz Zaworski. DS ACADEMY TEAM's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Santos Borre scored 4-0 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lukasz Zaworski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 62 minutes into the game, Unidad de Matanza's Nunez Savier nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lukasz Zaworski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. A collision led to DS ACADEMY TEAM getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Mateusz Major hit a great ball. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 74th minute Nunez Savier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lukasz Zaworski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 75th minute, Agustin Nardo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lukasz Zaworski was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. The supporters of Unidad de Matanza booed when DS ACADEMY TEAM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filip Brataniec didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lukasz Zaworski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacobo Herauso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adolfo Reyes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Unidad de Matanza walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
