Nestor Netto hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. SANTOS FC- FDFDF's Erivaldo Catarinense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolfo Bastiaro in the 16th minute of play. Emiliano Juvenal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Walmir Ferreira in the 18th minute. Telmo Pirani kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Danilo Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, SANTOS FC- FDFDF's Telmo Pirani got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 33rd minute, Nestor Netto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 35 minutes into the match, SANTOS FC- FDFDF's goal looked a bit too open when Adolfo Bastiaro came free, but Erivaldo Catarinense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute, Angelo Quinto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Walmir Ferreira got free with Emiliano Juvenal in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcelinho Antunes to strike the kick off in the second half. Erivaldo Catarinense made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Adolfo Bastiaro sent off a good shot on target. After 62 played minutes DeportivoIndependienteMDP got a freekick which was hit by Frichoso Ondovilla. Marcelinho Antunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 66 minutes into the match, SANTOS FC- FDFDF's goalkeeper Erivaldo Catarinense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adolfo Bastiaro. Erivaldo Catarinense made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Adolfo Bastiaro sent off a good shot on target. Adolfo Bastiaro's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Erivaldo Catarinense firmly grabbed it by the left post. With a little luck, SANTOS FC- FDFDF's Erivaldo Catarinense got control of the ball when Adolfo Bastiaro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Erivaldo Catarinense didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adolfo Bastiaro went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Frichoso Ondovilla's late challenge caught a SANTOS FC- FDFDF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frichoso Ondovilla helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to DeportivoIndependienteMDP getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Sérgio Barreto hit a great ball. Adolfo Bastiaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Erivaldo Catarinense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
