Spectators: 7488 (Terracing: 5617, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jacobo Herauso took the kick off in the first half of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jacobo Herauso in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erivaldo Catarinense saved SANTOS FC- FDFDF from getting behind. Erivaldo Catarinense stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nunez Savier's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. After 7 minutes SANTOS FC- FDFDF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Robustiano Jerrald who took care of the corner kick. Dinei Tinoco tried in the game's 7th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Erivaldo Catarinense. An annoying self made goal, 1-0. After 10 played minutes Unidad de Matanza got a freekick which was hit by Eleuterio Tipi. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacobo Herauso in the 12th minute of play forced SANTOS FC- FDFDF's goalkeeper Erivaldo Catarinense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adolfo Reyes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erivaldo Catarinense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adolfo Reyes, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 26 minutes into the match, SANTOS FC- FDFDF's goal looked a bit too open when Santos Borre came free, but Erivaldo Catarinense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute Jacobo Herauso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erivaldo Catarinense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the game, Nunez Savier cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. With a little luck, SANTOS FC- FDFDF's Erivaldo Catarinense got control of the ball when Jacobo Herauso tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jacobo Herauso in the 46thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. After 56 played minutes SANTOS FC- FDFDF got a freekick which was hit by João Augusto Velasco. Jacobo Herauso took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erivaldo Catarinense. Erivaldo Catarinense dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Adolfo Reyes took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erivaldo Catarinense. The supporters of Unidad de Matanza booed when SANTOS FC- FDFDF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adalberto Souza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erivaldo Catarinense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacobo Herauso in the 70th minute of play.
