Ove Damm made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Sebastian Sjöberg sent off a good shot on target. David Klintæus who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 4thth minute tested the skills of Ove Damm when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ove Damm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sture Ström in the 7th minute of the match. Gotham City's Ove Damm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hans Törnblom in the 8th minute of play. Folke Ström kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. A hard shot by Adam Skager from long distance, 12 minutes into the match, got Ove Damm's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hans Törnblom got free with Ove Damm in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ove Damm acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 24th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Adam Skager. Ove Damm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sture Ström in the 35th minute of play. If Arman Fanström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 39 minutes, Ove Damm successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 40th minute, AC Superstar's Sture Ström dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jan Åman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bo Kollberg hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Edvard Åkesson struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Ove Damm didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AC Superstar. Ove Damm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sture Ström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Adam Skager fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AC Superstar's protests and gave Adam Skager a yellow card for diving instead. After 68 played minutes AC Superstar got a freekick which was hit by Adam Skager. A collision led to Gotham City getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Folke Ström hit a great ball. Jan Åman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charles Johansson having to interfere. In the 89th match minute, Gotham City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl Nyström to maneuver through the defense. Ove Damm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sture Ström in the 90th minute of play. After some careless play in the Gotham City defense, Sture Ström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ove Damm. The Gotham City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ove Damm should have stopped the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The AC Superstar fans cheered their team off the field, for while Gotham City had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
