Ove Damm was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Metehan Kuntay showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 19 minute of play. Ove Damm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Metehan Kuntay, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Åman in the 26th minute of play forced Evcilerspor's goalkeeper Ali Atıf Okatay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan Åman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Atıf Okatay having to interfere. Ove Damm was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Metehan Kuntay's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 36thth minute, Ove Damm skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A collision led to Evcilerspor getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Tuğrul Regaip hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Metehan Kuntay to make the kick off. When Jan Åman came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Gotham City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan Åman couldn't finish the play. In the 58th match minute, Evcilerspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alp Ergintuğ to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Gotham City's Ali Atıf Okatay threw himself towards the right post 65 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jan Åman, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 71 minutes into the match, Evcilerspor's goalkeeper Ali Atıf Okatay had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Olle Dusett. Ali Atıf Okatay was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jan Åman showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 73 minute of play. Jan Åman was extremely unlucky when he, in the 76th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After a defensive mix-up in Evcilerspor's zone, Jan Åman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ali Atıf Okatay came out of the goal and Jan Åman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Evcilerspor's Ali Atıf Okatay proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Evcilerspor from getting a goal against them. Arman Fanström scored 2-3 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ali Atıf Okatay, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Evcilerspor booed when Gotham City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claes Abrahamsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match was over Gotham City could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Evcilerspor throughout the match.
