After a defensive mix-up in Olavarria FC's zone, Victoriano Burutzagi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 27 minutes into the match, Olavarria FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Quintun came free, but Rüştü Preudhomme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robbie De Kijser could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Richard Textex made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopoldo Erlantz in the 34th minute of play forced Olavarria FC's goalkeeper Rüştü Preudhomme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guillaume Carels received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Richard Textex tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stephen Camps hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. 47 minutes into the match, Newpi Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Guillaume Carels came free, but Richard Textex reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olavarria FC were awarded a corner in the 48th minute after Newpi Academy's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Robbie De Kijser took the corner. The wind increased when Edgard Quintun made the kick off in the second half. Rüştü Preudhomme made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Leopoldo Erlantz sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 58 minutes, Guillaume Carels managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olavarria FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guillaume Carels was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luk Ombelets fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Textex having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Luk Ombelets left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Olavarria FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Richard Textex made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luk Ombelets in the 84th minute of play. Robbie De Kijser sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robbie De Kijser kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Newpi Academy's Rüştü Preudhomme threw himself towards the right post 94 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edgard Quintun, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Guillaume Carels fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Textex having to interfere. Olavarria FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
