Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5626, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Robbie De Kijser kicked off to start the match. 6 minutes into the match, Olavarria FC's goal looked a bit too open when Iulian Pordea came free, but Rüştü Preudhomme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th minute, Robbin Meeus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rüştü Preudhomme came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by The Owls's Robert Uncescu. But to his dismay, Robert Uncescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 11th match minute, The Owls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by A.J. Bufi to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luk Ombelets in the 13th minute of play forced The Owls's goalkeeper Ionuț Lungu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantin Ifrim in the 16th minute of play forced Olavarria FC's goalkeeper Rüştü Preudhomme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd match minute, The Owls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Constantin Ifrim to maneuver through the defense. 23 minutes into the match, The Owls's goal looked a bit too open when Robbie De Kijser came free, but Ionuț Lungu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Petruț Alecu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rüştü Preudhomme. Olavarria FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Petruț Alecu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Rüştü Preudhomme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iulian Pordea in the 30th minute of play. Rüştü Preudhomme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petruț Alecu, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 34 minutes into the match, Iulian Pordea had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rüştü Preudhomme. Olavarria FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iulian Pordea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. 37 minutes into the game, The Owls's Petruț Alecu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rüştü Preudhomme made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. The supporters of The Owls booed when Olavarria FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stephen Camps didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 41 played minutes, The Owls's Petruț Alecu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rüştü Preudhomme came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in The Owls reached it. After 43 played minutes The Owls got a freekick which was hit by Damian Bârlea. Petruț Alecu kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Robbie De Kijser hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Rüştü Preudhomme made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iulian Pordea in the 54th minute. After some careless play in the Olavarria FC defense, Iulian Pordea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rüştü Preudhomme. The Olavarria FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rüştü Preudhomme should have stopped the shot. Rüştü Preudhomme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petruț Alecu in the 66th minute of play. After 67 played minutes Iulian Pordea rounded Olavarria FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-7. Iulian Pordea scored 0-8 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rüştü Preudhomme, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rüştü Preudhomme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iulian Pordea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 79 minutes of play, The Owls's Petruț Alecu made it 0-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rüştü Preudhomme was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rüştü Preudhomme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petruț Alecu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rüştü Preudhomme came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by The Owls's Constantin Ifrim. But to his dismay, Constantin Ifrim quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-10. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Iulian Pordea took a quick shot and it went in 0-11 without a chance for Rüştü Preudhomme to make any attempt to save it.
