Spectators: 7451 (Terracing: 5590, Seating: 1713, VIP seats: 148) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. César da Rocha started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers César da Rocha in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Janusz Giejda saved FC SZAFIRY from getting behind. Inter de Melão's Ernesto Farias got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Gonçalo Mazza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Farias in the 16th minute of play forced FC SZAFIRY's goalkeeper Janusz Giejda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the game, Inter de Melão's Ernesto Farias nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Janusz Giejda made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Ernesto Farias put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Janusz Giejda. Janusz Giejda came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Inter de Melão's Ernesto Farias. But to his dismay, Ernesto Farias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 36th minute, Gonçalo Mazza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the FC SZAFIRY defense, Gonçalo Mazza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Janusz Giejda. The FC SZAFIRY fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Janusz Giejda should have stopped the shot. Ernesto Farias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Janusz Giejda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from César da Rocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. 47 minutes into the game, Inter de Melão's Maurinho Vergílio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Janusz Giejda made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. After the first half Inter de Melão were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Radowit Gdaniec made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Gonçalo Mazza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Janusz Giejda was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. If César da Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. FC SZAFIRY's Janusz Giejda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save FC SZAFIRY from getting a goal against them. Ernesto Farias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Maurinho Vergílio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Janusz Giejda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from César da Rocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. If Gonçalo Mazza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Inter de Melão's César da Rocha in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC SZAFIRY's goalie prevented a goal. César da Rocha struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Janusz Giejda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Inter de Melão. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 0-7 when César da Rocha sped through FC SZAFIRY's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Janusz Giejda. In the 79thth minute of the game Jardel Cunha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC SZAFIRY's Janusz Giejda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Janusz Giejda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gonçalo Mazza in the 80th minute. In the 82nd minute, Ernesto Farias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. César da Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Janusz Giejda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Janusz Giejda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from César da Rocha in the 86th minute of play. When Inter de Melão's César da Rocha in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC SZAFIRY's goalie prevented a goal. Inter de Melão's César da Rocha was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 90th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. FC SZAFIRY's Janusz Giejda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save FC SZAFIRY from getting a goal against them. Inter de Melão's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
