Ionuț Lungu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amadeu Furlan in the 4th minute. After a rather tough play, The Owls's Eugen Chiriacescu got a free kick in the 5th minute. With an all-out effort, 卡納里尼奧 FC's Ionuț Lungu threw himself towards the right post 9 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rômulo Soares, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valentin Ursulescu in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Édouard Mendy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Amadeu Furlan took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Ionuț Lungu to make any attempt to save it. Sandro Maciel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ionuț Lungu having to interfere. Édouard Mendy came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by The Owls's Valentin Ursulescu. But to his dismay, Valentin Ursulescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. A collision led to 卡納里尼奧 FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Dorian do Vale hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute, Iulian Pordea made a precise shot to the right of Édouard Mendy. 卡納里尼奧 FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Édouard Mendy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentin Ursulescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 26th minute, Amadeu Furlan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sandro Maciel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ionuț Lungu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Édouard Mendy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iulian Pordea, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After a rather tough play, The Owls's A.J. Bufi got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 38th minute of the match, Sandro Maciel tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ionuț Lungu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Sandro Maciel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Édouard Mendy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentin Ursulescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amadeu Furlan during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Valentin Ursulescu made the kick off in the second half. Édouard Mendy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iulian Pordea in the 58th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Valentin Ursulescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The The Owls fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. Iulian Pordea charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iulian Pordea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Iulian Pordea hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Ionuț Lungu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rômulo Soares in the 85th minute of the match. Édouard Mendy was a little too slow when Iulian Pordea got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 1-6. In the 92nd minute, Iulian Pordea reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Édouard Mendy. The goal made the score 1-7. Valentin Ursulescu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Édouard Mendy came out and tried to block the shot, but Valentin Ursulescu slotted it home off the left post making it 1-8 in the 96th minute. The Owls's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
