In the 12th minute Doru Trăilă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Estebanez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Sabaneta FC's goalie and right to Doru Trăilă. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Sabaneta FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 16th minute Francisco Villagrán shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kacper Tobias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 17 played minutes Sabaneta FC got a freekick which was hit by Bahiano Sanchez. Lautaro Estebanez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jairo Dantel in the 18th minute of the match. In the 20th match minute, Kenya was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Venancio Urti to maneuver through the defense. If Raul Clavell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute, Francisco Villagrán hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paco Melo in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lautaro Estebanez saved Sabaneta FC from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Paco Melo put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Lautaro Estebanez. Raul Clavell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kacper Tobias read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Clemente Ruy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lautaro Estebanez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paco Melo in the 46th minute of play.

When the final whistle sounded Kenya left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Sabaneta FC.
