In the 3rd minute Iustin Neagoe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Milan Bakeš saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Galati Harbour Cats getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Basarab Zdroană hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Sebastian Andone managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galati Harbour Cats's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Andone was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Milan Bakeš breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 15 played minutes Galati Harbour Cats got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Andone. Galati Harbour Cats's Iustin Neagoe got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 21 played minutes Galati Harbour Cats got a freekick which was hit by Panait Acalinei. Valer Oproiu hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute, Jiří Mertlík sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Galati Harbour Cats's Manole Ghiondea didn't even have to move. Iustin Neagoe kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 27th match minute, FK TEPLICE STARS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ondřej Čermák to maneuver through the defense. FK TEPLICE STARS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jiří Mertlík in the 32nd minute. FK TEPLICE STARS's Jiří Mertlík was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Manole Ghiondea in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Galati Harbour Cats's Manole Ghiondea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florian Antl in the 37th minute of play. Sebastian Andone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ladislav Bernard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lumír Vosecký kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. David Macamete sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Florian Antl was the one to do the kick off. 50 minutes into the match, Galati Harbour Cats's goalkeeper Manole Ghiondea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ladislav Bernard. Manole Ghiondea came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by FK TEPLICE STARS's Florian Antl. But to his dismay, Florian Antl quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 59th minute Iustin Neagoe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Milan Bakeš saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Galati Harbour Cats's goalkeeper Manole Ghiondea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ladislav Bernard. In the 63rd minute, Martin Koky hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th match minute, Galati Harbour Cats was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iustin Neagoe to maneuver through the defense. Ladislav Bernard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manole Ghiondea having to interfere. After 71 minutes FK TEPLICE STARS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Filip Mavrogheni who took care of the corner kick. Mugur Zbanţ was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 72 minutes into the match. Mugur Zbanţ hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Milan Bakeš made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurel Crainic in the 76th minute of play. Iustin Neagoe took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Milan Bakeš. Milan Bakeš dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. When Galati Harbour Cats's Iustin Neagoe in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FK TEPLICE STARS's goalie prevented a goal. Manole Ghiondea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ladislav Bernard, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The Galati Harbour Cats fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FK TEPLICE STARS were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
