Mehmet Ali Saltuk made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Ruben Smidts sent off a good shot on target. Alex Pihl didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from kaya Acarbay went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Peng Xu got free with Mehmet Ali Saltuk in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mehmet Ali Saltuk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leif Olofsson in the 11th minute. Nusrettin Uçman hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute Peng Xu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Ali Saltuk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Hendek Spor Kulübü's goal looked a bit too open when Leif Olofsson came free, but Mehmet Ali Saltuk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute Cornel Ulici shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Ali Saltuk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peng Xu scored 1-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mehmet Ali Saltuk, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mehmet Ali Saltuk didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cornel Ulici went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. SK Mons's Leif Olofsson got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 31 played minutes SK Mons got a freekick which was hit by Ruben Smidts. kaya Acarbay's late challenge caught a SK Mons's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. kaya Acarbay helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Hendek Spor Kulübü getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. kaya Acarbay hit a great ball. After having played for 34 minutes, Cornel Ulici managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SK Mons's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cornel Ulici was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ruben Smidts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Mehmet Ali Saltuk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mehmet Ali Saltuk was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cornel Ulici showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 38 minute of play. Ruben Smidts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to SK Mons getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Benoit Gijselinckx hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in SK Mons's zone, Orhan Veli Kurboga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alex Pihl came out of the goal and Orhan Veli Kurboga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when kaya Acarbay stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Peng Xu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mehmet Ali Saltuk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cornel Ulici in the 53rd minute of the match. After 56th play minutes Cornel Ulici shot 4-1, a short shot which went by Mehmet Ali Saltuk and just under the crossbar into goal. Ruben Smidts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Ali Saltuk having to interfere. SK Mons made a substitution. Yanniek Verhaert replaced Sammy Van Houdtvin. 63 minutes into the match, Cornel Ulici had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mehmet Ali Saltuk. Hendek Spor Kulübü's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cornel Ulici was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. Mehmet Ali Saltuk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cornel Ulici in the 69th minute of play. When Cornel Ulici came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the SK Mons fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cornel Ulici couldn't finish the play. If Leif Olofsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 74 minutes into the match, Leif Olofsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mehmet Ali Saltuk. Hendek Spor Kulübü's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leif Olofsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-1. Peng Xu got in the 77th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Mehmet Ali Saltuk handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Hendek Spor Kulübü's Mehmet Ali Saltuk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leif Olofsson in the 78th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Cornel Ulici ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mehmet Ali Saltuk was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-1. Hendek Spor Kulübü's Mehmet Ali Saltuk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornel Ulici in the 87th minute of play. 89 minutes into the game, SK Mons's Cornel Ulici nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mehmet Ali Saltuk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-1. In the 96th minute, Ruben Smidts made a precise shot to the right of Mehmet Ali Saltuk. Hendek Spor Kulübü's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 11-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SK Mons fans cheered their team off the field, for while Hendek Spor Kulübü had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
