After 12 minutes, Dimitri Gielis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Forza Heppenbach and the DJVAGALUMY FC. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 12th minute, Dimitri Gielis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13th minute, Thiago Vidal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bernard Ryers was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 18 minutes into the match, Paulinho Zanette had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bernard Ryers. Forza Heppenbach's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paulinho Zanette was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 22 minutes into the match, Forza Heppenbach's goal looked a bit too open when Paulinho Zanette came free, but Bernard Ryers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute Eriberto Borges shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernard Ryers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robinho Amorim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ward Raeymakers in the 33rd minute. Augustijn Luytens kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The wind increased when Ward Raeymakers made the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 51 minutes, Bernard Ryers successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Bernard Ryers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abelardo Neiva in the 52nd minute. Eriberto Borges's late challenge caught a Forza Heppenbach's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eriberto Borges helped the player get up and apologised. In the 55th minute, Eriberto Borges hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulinho Zanette got free with Bernard Ryers in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Axel De Beer during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Forza Heppenbach getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Axel De Beer hit a great ball. Paulinho Zanette's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Bernard Ryers firmly grabbed it by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Thiago Vidal kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bernard Ryers. That made the score 1-5 in the 76 minute of play. Bernard Ryers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thiago Vidal in the 79th minute of play. Bernard Ryers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thiago Vidal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Forza Heppenbach getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Ruben de Wolf hit a great ball. In the 86th minute, Richey Bernaerts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute, Paulinho Zanette got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ruben de Wolf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robinho Amorim having to interfere. Paulinho Zanette could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Bernard Ryers made a huge save.
