The supporters of Vampiros Aztecas booed when La Cosa Nostra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabio Inko didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th match minute, Vampiros Aztecas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roque Gurutz to maneuver through the defense. Roberto Estevez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laureano Eusko in the 23rd minute of play. La Cosa Nostra's Roberto Estevez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laureano Eusko in the 25th minute of play. 28 minutes into the game, Silvestre Ostots recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Roberto Estevez. Silvestre Ostots showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. When Everardo Regis came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the La Cosa Nostra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Everardo Regis couldn't finish the play. Guaberto Chabier kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Roberto Estevez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laureano Eusko, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Silvestre Ostots made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvestre Ostots in the 52nd minute of play forced La Cosa Nostra's goalkeeper Roberto Estevez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute, Silvestre Ostots made a precise shot to the right of Roberto Estevez. La Cosa Nostra's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 71st minute Teo Lon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Estevez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to La Cosa Nostra getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Haroldo Maule hit a great ball. During the 75th minute of the match Haroldo Maule completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Haroldo Maule a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Vampiros Aztecas walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
