Dumitru Tolea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Dumitru Tolea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alin Agud in the 23rd minute of the match. Dumitru Tolea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tudor Bărbânță, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th match minute, Dark Prophets was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sorin Potra to maneuver through the defense. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tudor Bărbânță was the one to do the kick off. Sorin Potra hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute, FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Cristi Platon dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-10. Dumitru Tolea came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Alin Agud. But to his dismay, Alin Agud quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-12. 71 minutes into the game, Alin Agud was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dark Prophets the free kick. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Mihai Odobescu took a quick shot and it went in 0-13 without a chance for Dumitru Tolea to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristi Platon in the 77th minute of play forced Dark Prophets's goalkeeper Dumitru Tolea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Tudor Bărbânță kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dumitru Tolea. That made the score 0-14 in the 78 minute of play. After 83 minutes, Iulian Povară mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dark Prophets and the FC UNIREA Alba Iulia players grew even worse after the yellow card. Iulian Povară hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. 84 minutes into the game, Tudor Bărbânță lined in a short shot 0-15 behind a frustrated Dumitru Tolea. Dumitru Tolea came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Tudor Bărbânță. But to his dismay, Tudor Bărbânță quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-16. Dumitru Tolea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tudor Bărbânță went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-17 was the resulting score. 96 minutes into the match, Dark Prophets's goal looked a bit too open when Gigi Câmpeanu came free, but Dumitru Tolea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute, Alin Agud hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
