When Filiberto Garikoitz came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the Copérnico F.C. fans jumped to their feet. In the 13th match minute, Copérnico F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulino Ledesma to maneuver through the defense. Carmelo Ederonos short, quick shot in the 14thth minute got Herminio Guillelme to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 15 minutes into the game, Alvaro Montrell cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Emilio Guifre was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Emilio Guifre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnoldo Txatxu in the 17th minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carmelo Ederono made a kick off. Arnoldo Txatxu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 56 minutes into the match, Falcor Athletic Club's goal looked a bit too open when Asopos Katsiavrias came free, but Emilio Guifre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Alvaro Montrell came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Copérnico F.C. fans jumped to their feet. The audience was convinced that Carmelo Ederono's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Herminio Guillelme was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Emilio Guifre dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carmelo Ederono in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Herminio Guillelme saved Copérnico F.C. from getting behind. Emilio Guifre was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Asopos Katsiavrias showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 74 minute of play. Filiberto Garikoitz took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emilio Guifre. Emilio Guifre dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. The supporters of Falcor Athletic Club booed when Copérnico F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filiberto Garikoitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Simon Quintan kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Carmelo Ederono fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herminio Guillelme having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, Falcor Athletic Club's goalkeeper Emilio Guifre had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alvaro Montrell. Copérnico F.C.'s Filiberto Garikoitz got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Gabriel Abeijon fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Falcor Athletic Club's protests and gave Gabriel Abeijon a yellow card for diving instead. Gabriel Abeijon kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Luisito Blasi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 96 minutes, Arnoldo Txatxu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Copérnico F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnoldo Txatxu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
