An unexpectedly hard shot by Asopos Katsiavrias in the 5th minute of play forced io.dasola's goalkeeper Alisson Becker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 8 minutes, Rodrigo Brais mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Copérnico F.C. and the io.dasola players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, io.dasola's Fausto Pierucci got a free kick in the 11th minute. Herminio Guillelme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Sayah in the 14th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Montrell in the 16th minute of play forced io.dasola's goalkeeper Alisson Becker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Herminio Guillelme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Sayah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alvaro Montrell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alisson Becker didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arnoldo Txatxu went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Armando Padro hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Alisson Becker was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alvaro Montrell showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 40 minute of play. If Adriaan Say had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to io.dasola getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Fabiano Petrocchi hit a great ball. Alisson Becker made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulino Ledesma in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alvaro Montrell was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of io.dasola booed when Copérnico F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnoldo Txatxu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 54 minutes into the game, Bruno Ursini was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. io.dasola's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Copérnico F.C. the free kick. Alisson Becker was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Copérnico F.C.'s Herminio Guillelme proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Copérnico F.C. from getting a goal against them. In the 63rd minute Arnoldo Txatxu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alisson Becker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute, Arnoldo Txatxu made a precise shot to the right of Alisson Becker. io.dasola's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1.
