After 15 played minutes Soucar FC got a freekick which was hit by Locaio Soler. When Filiberto Garikoitz came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Copérnico F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filiberto Garikoitz couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Montrell in the 22nd minute of play forced Soucar FC's goalkeeper Ospin Campello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Copérnico F.C. getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Arnoldo Txatxu hit a great ball. If Paulino Ledesma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Copérnico F.C. booed when Soucar FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristián Castro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ospin Campello made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Alvaro Montrell sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Soucar FC's zone, Paulino Ledesma stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ospin Campello came out of the goal and Paulino Ledesma tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 39th minute, Rodrigo Brais hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ospin Campello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvaro Montrell in the 44th minute of the match. The Copérnico F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Soucar FC were winning 0-1.

When Alvaro Montrell came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Copérnico F.C. fans jumped to their feet. In the 55th minute, Paulino Ledesma ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ospin Campello was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Ospin Campello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvaro Montrell in the 61st minute of the match. Ospin Campello came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Copérnico F.C.'s Paulino Ledesma. But to his dismay, Paulino Ledesma quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Arnoldo Txatxu's late challenge caught a Soucar FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnoldo Txatxu helped the player get up and apologised. Arnoldo Txatxu hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Ospin Campello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Asopos Katsiavrias in the 74th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Arnoldo Txatxu made a precise shot to the right of Ospin Campello. Soucar FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Alvaro Montrell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Copérnico F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Alvaro Montrell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ospin Campello breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arnoldo Txatxu took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ospin Campello. Ospin Campello dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Soucar FC's Ospin Campello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulino Ledesma in the 89th minute of play. In the 90th minute Arnoldo Txatxu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ospin Campello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Copérnico F.C. fully deserved thier win.
