Spectators: 7481 (Terracing: 5612, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 149) Tacheros OFF's Faustão Melo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Faustão Melo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Faustão Melo in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Serginho Azevedo saved Flamengo FC from getting behind. In the 12th minute, Zeledon Oliverio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Serginho Azevedo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 22 minutes, Benigno Horado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tacheros OFF and the Flamengo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 23 minutes into the match, Tacheros OFF's goal looked a bit too open when Arlindo Leão came free, but Vaios Evaggelliadis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Elano Ceresso got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Vaios Evaggelliadis quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Serginho Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faustão Melo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Serginho Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeledon Oliverio in the 30th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Guaberto Valentine notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Flamengo FC's Serginho Azevedo. Serginho Azevedo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Tacheros OFF getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Faustão Melo hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faustão Melo in the 37th minute of play forced Flamengo FC's goalkeeper Serginho Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Serginho Azevedo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guaberto Valentine went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arlindo Leão in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vaios Evaggelliadis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 45 minutes into the match, Tacheros OFF's goal looked a bit too open when Renato Ortiz came free, but Vaios Evaggelliadis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arlindo Leão made a kick off. Serginho Azevedo was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Zeledon Oliverio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Zeledon Oliverio really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. In the 55th minute, Faustão Melo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Serginho Azevedo. The goal made the score 0-6. With a little luck, Flamengo FC's Serginho Azevedo got control of the ball when Guaberto Valentine tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 64th match minute, Flamengo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abelardo Fantini to maneuver through the defense. Vaios Evaggelliadis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arlindo Leão, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. 69 minutes into the game, Tacheros OFF's Faustão Melo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Serginho Azevedo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. Fábio de Godoi hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Flamengo FC's zone, Costel Dijmărescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serginho Azevedo came out of the goal and Costel Dijmărescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vaios Evaggelliadis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arlindo Leão in the 83rd minute of the match. Serginho Azevedo made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Zeledon Oliverio sent off a good shot on target. If Manfredo Freire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arlindo Leão in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vaios Evaggelliadis saved Tacheros OFF from getting behind. Guaberto Valentine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serginho Azevedo having to interfere.
