In the 33rd minute Faustão Melo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Umberto França saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Faustão Melo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. After having played for 47 minutes, Juarês Cardoso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caskinha Esporte Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juarês Cardoso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-8 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Faustão Melo made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faustão Melo in the 51st minute of play forced Caskinha Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Umberto França to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 52nd minute Tarmo Ollonen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Umberto França saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Faustão Melo took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Umberto França. Umberto França dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-11. Umberto França was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Guaberto Valentine showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-12 in the 75 minute of play. Umberto França showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeledon Oliverio, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Umberto França made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Zeledon Oliverio sent off a good shot on target. In the 87th minute Tacheros OFF were awarded a corner. Faustão Melo went to the cornerflag to take it. The supporters of Tacheros OFF booed when Caskinha Esporte Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delfim Capixaba didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zeledon Oliverio took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Umberto França. Umberto França dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-14. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Celso Perez during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 94 minutes into the game, one of Caskinha Esporte Clube:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 95th minute there was a penalty for Tacheros OFF. Faustão Melo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Umberto França. 0-15. In the 98th minute, Guaberto Valentine left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tacheros OFF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-16.
