The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 played minutes Laboon SK got a freekick which was hit by Mirkelam Kiram. 5 minutes into the game, Vito da Mata was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BURITIS FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Laboon SK the free kick. After a rather tough play, BURITIS FC's Vito da Mata got a free kick in the 5th minute. Tayyip Toktuğ recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 11 minutes into the match, BURITIS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mirkelam Kiram came free, but Gustavo Unai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mirkelam Kiram in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gustavo Unai prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 18 minutes of play, Laboon SK's İrfan Genç made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gustavo Unai was left in no man's land by his defense there! 22 minutes into the game, Orhan Seyfi Altunışık was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Laboon SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BURITIS FC the free kick. Orhan Seyfi Altunışık hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. BURITIS FC's Gustavo Unai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mirkelam Kiram in the 24th minute of play. In the 30th minute Aydın Suerdem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Unai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Çelik Kutbay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ernani Paraense hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. 34 minutes into the match, BURITIS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gazi Engintalay came free, but Gustavo Unai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustavo Unai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mirkelam Kiram in the 39th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, İrfan Genç had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gustavo Unai. BURITIS FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that İrfan Genç was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Gustavo Unai came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Laboon SK's Tayyip Toktuğ. But to his dismay, Tayyip Toktuğ quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vito da Mata was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th match minute, BURITIS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agostinho Carneiro to maneuver through the defense. Gustavo Unai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aydın Suerdem, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After 62 played minutes BURITIS FC got a freekick which was hit by Vito da Mata. In the 67th minute Tayyip Toktuğ shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Unai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, BURITIS FC's goalkeeper Gustavo Unai had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by İrfan Genç. Vito da Mata hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 74th minute, Edson Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Laboon SK booed when BURITIS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agostinho Carneiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gazi Engintalay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Gustavo Unai made a huge save. In the 87thth minute of the game İrfan Genç who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BURITIS FC's Gustavo Unai was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gustavo Unai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tayyip Toktuğ in the 88th minute of play. Gustavo Unai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aydın Suerdem, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. With a little luck, BURITIS FC's Gustavo Unai got control of the ball when İrfan Genç tried to sneak it across the goal line. The BURITIS FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Laboon SK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
