If Nando Matorin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Club A. Chipa y Tereré's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Nando Matorin scored to the left of an out of position Baldomero Seber, making the score, 2-0. Nicanor Uzuri took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 45th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mugurel Zota. Cercadinho's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, Cercadinho's William de Castro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Baldomero Seber narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Nicanor Uzuri kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Ricardinho Sousa might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Baldomero Seber. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ricardinho Sousa ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Cercadinho getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. He Fei Zhou hit a great ball. Cercadinho's Nando Matorin suffered a concussion after 65 minutes and had to leave the field. When Nicanor Uzuri fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club A. Chipa y Tereré's protests and gave Nicanor Uzuri a yellow card for diving instead. Nicanor Uzuri hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Ricardinho Sousa hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Cercadinho made a substitution. Mauro Prata replaced Ricardinho Sousa. After a rather tough play, Cercadinho's Ricardinho Sousa got a free kick in the 76th minute. After 79 played minutes Club A. Chipa y Tereré got a freekick which was hit by Serafino Veto. Baldomero Seber was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Ulf Bergqvist fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cercadinho's protests and gave Ulf Bergqvist a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cercadinho fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 86th minute. Penalty! Club A. Chipa y Tereré's Leonides Velasco quite brazenly broke a throw-in by He Fei Zhou, made in the 90th minute of the game. After 94 played minutes Club A. Chipa y Tereré got a freekick which was hit by Justo Segio. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Cercadinho fans cheered their team off the field, for while Club A. Chipa y Tereré had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
