The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Válbson Fernandes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lúcio Mota read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Renato Ferreira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tabajara Londrina LBFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Renato Ferreira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lúcio Mota breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 14th minute, Evaristo Moreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lúcio Mota prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marquinhos Senior in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lúcio Mota saved Paranhos Ariranha FC from getting behind. Paranhos Ariranha FC's Lúcio Mota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renato Ferreira in the 25th minute of play. Juan Arantes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Alberto de Amaral's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. If Válbson Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marquinhos Senior blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lúcio Mota having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Carlos Alberto de Amaral managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paranhos Ariranha FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Alberto de Amaral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juan Arantes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 39th minute of the game. One of Paranhos Ariranha FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tabajara Londrina LBFC:s goal. In the 40th minute, Tabajara Londrina LBFC got a penalty, and Wulf-Dieter Kielbasa placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. In the 46th play minute Marquinhos Senior came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Lúcio Mota. 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlos Alberto de Amaral made a kick off. Renato Ferreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lúcio Mota having to interfere. Fernando Paulista kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Lúcio Mota showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marquinhos Senior in the 56th minute of the match. After 57 minutes, Marquinhos Senior made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Paranhos Ariranha FC's Lúcio Mota tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Marquinhos Senior managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 71stth minute of the game Carlinhos Schmidt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tabajara Londrina LBFC's Juan Arantes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Renato Ferreira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lúcio Mota was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. In the 72ndth minute of the game Renato Ferreira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paranhos Ariranha FC's Lúcio Mota was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 85th minute Válbson Fernandes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lúcio Mota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marquinhos Senior ran back to his position shaking his head. There was no doubt that Tabajara Londrina LBFC were the better team. Tabajara Londrina LBFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
