Atlético y Tiro Rqta's Luis Landaburu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Válbson Fernandes in the 10th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julio Gudesteo in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juan Arantes saved Tabajara Londrina LBFC from getting behind. Luis Landaburu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artur Arósio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luis Landaburu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renato Ferreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 17th minute Marquinhos Senior shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Landaburu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Válbson Fernandes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tabajara Londrina LBFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Válbson Fernandes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luis Landaburu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Julio Gudesteo in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Juan Arantes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Juan Arantes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Julio Gudesteo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 30 minute of play. In the 33rd minute Renato Ferreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Landaburu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 34 minutes, Martin Thomas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atlético y Tiro Rqta and the Tabajara Londrina LBFC players grew even worse after the yellow card.
