Lúcio Mota made an important save on a dangerous shot by Niceto Gagriel in the 6th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlinhos Schmidt in the 7th minute of play forced Cercadinho's goalkeeper Mugurel Zota to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cercadinho's Mugurel Zota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dé Prado in the 14th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Cercadinho's William de Castro got a free kick in the 15th minute. If William de Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute of the match Douglas Mota sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mugurel Zota skillfully saved the ball. 30 minutes into the game, William de Castro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Lúcio Mota was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When William de Castro came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Cercadinho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that William de Castro couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlos Alberto de Amaral to make the kick off. Evaristo Moreira got a throw-in 56 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Carlinhos Schmidt. Enrique Gerber took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lúcio Mota. Paranhos Ariranha FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. William de Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lúcio Mota having to interfere. Mugurel Zota showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlinhos Schmidt, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Cercadinho's goal looked a bit too open when Dé Prado came free, but Mugurel Zota reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When William de Castro came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Cercadinho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that William de Castro couldn't finish the play. Cercadinho's Edmundo Aparecido was substituted for Luís Fernando Queiroz. In the 76th minute, Niceto Gagriel made a precise shot to the right of Lúcio Mota. Paranhos Ariranha FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Lúcio Mota showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niceto Gagriel, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 83rd match minute, Paranhos Ariranha FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Douglas Mota to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute William de Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lúcio Mota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Cercadinho getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. William de Castro hit a great ball. 91 minutes into the match, Niceto Gagriel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lúcio Mota. Paranhos Ariranha FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Niceto Gagriel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Mugurel Zota showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlinhos Schmidt in the 95th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Cercadinho players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
