Fumasche's Lorenzo Quinito got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Lorenzo Quinito took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Cléber Arantes to make any attempt to save it. Cléber Arantes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedicto Romelio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute, Kaj Björnsson had to leave the field with a concussion. Perivaldo Oliveira charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Perivaldo Oliveira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fumasche made a substitution. Patricio Panpili replaced Kaj Björnsson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedicto Romelio in the 14th minute of play forced H4K.BR's goalkeeper Cléber Arantes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 19 minutes, Reynaldo Travassos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. H4K.BR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reynaldo Travassos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Fumasche's Jacobo Estevez got a free kick in the 20th minute. Conrado Liberto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reynaldo Travassos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the game, Jano Matorin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. H4K.BR's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fumasche the free kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benedicto Romelio got free with Cléber Arantes in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cléber Arantes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benedicto Romelio went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. If Benedicto Romelio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cléber Arantes made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Benedicto Romelio sent off a good shot on target. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Benedicto Romelio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cléber Arantes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Reynaldo Travassos scored 2-1 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Conrado Liberto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 58 minutes into the game, Rodriguinho Cavalcante was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. H4K.BR's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fumasche the free kick. Rodriguinho Cavalcante hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Benedicto Romelio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cléber Arantes having to interfere. A collision led to H4K.BR getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Víktor Sabóia hit a great ball. In the 68th minute, Benedicto Romelio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 77th minute, Jano Matorin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the H4K.BR defense, Benedicto Romelio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cléber Arantes. The H4K.BR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cléber Arantes should have stopped the shot. With an all-out effort, H4K.BR's Conrado Liberto threw himself towards the right post 84 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Víktor Sabóia, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorenzo Quinito in the 87th minute of play forced H4K.BR's goalkeeper Cléber Arantes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reynaldo Travassos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of H4K.BR booed when Fumasche was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santos Ponciano didn't get a good kick on the ball. 95 minutes into the game, Lorenzo Quinito cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Cléber Arantes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There was no doubt that Fumasche were the better team. Fumasche's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
