The corner led Portuguesa's Yuri de Queiroz to fire away a dangerous shot which Cléber Arantes despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Sidnei Faria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The corner led H4K.BR's Jano Matorin to fire away a dangerous shot which Régis Castro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charles Arantes in the 36th minute of play forced H4K.BR's goalkeeper Cléber Arantes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Charles Arantes put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Cléber Arantes. H4K.BR's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Pedro Augusto de Barros scored to the left of an out of position Cléber Arantes, making the score, 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 91st minute, Charles Arantes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to H4K.BR getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Perivaldo Oliveira hit a great ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Portuguesa had played much better football throughout.
