An unexpected shot in the 11th minute by Reynaldo Travassos got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Reynaldo Travassos in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. H4K.BR were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Fire Devils's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. João Vítor da Costa took the corner. Walter Fransson was a little too slow when Reynaldo Travassos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 1-0. After 21 played minutes H4K.BR got a freekick which was hit by Perivaldo Oliveira. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fire Devils's goalkeeper Walter Fransson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cléber Arantes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Percy Paterson's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. H4K.BR's Víktor Sabóia got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reynaldo Travassos in the 39th minute of play forced Fire Devils's goalkeeper Walter Fransson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of H4K.BR booed when Fire Devils was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pius Gruenenfelder didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st minute Reynaldo Travassos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walter Fransson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andy Vincent to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Fire Devils was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franco Verdon to maneuver through the defense. Reynaldo Travassos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reynaldo Travassos in the 73rd minute of play forced Fire Devils's goalkeeper Walter Fransson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute of the game Kleopas Boller made a throw-in which Dave Saenger played forward. In the 81st match minute, H4K.BR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Perivaldo Oliveira to maneuver through the defense. Walter Fransson came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by H4K.BR's Reynaldo Travassos. But to his dismay, Reynaldo Travassos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reynaldo Travassos in the 87th minute of play forced Fire Devils's goalkeeper Walter Fransson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Reynaldo Travassos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Fire Devils's goalkeeper Walter Fransson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
