Nikita Bolla lost his temper 3 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 3 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Fire Devils! Walter Fransson had in the 5thth minute some difficulties stopping Mieszko Niemojewski's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After having played for 6 minutes, Denis Lambrozzi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fire Devils's supporters crossed their fingers, but Denis Lambrozzi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Denis Lambrozzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wincenty Zajac during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Wincenty Zajac kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. The supporters of Illuminati booed when Fire Devils was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martial Schwersenz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jaroslav Kaczynski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Percy Paterson, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Francis Aberle charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Francis Aberle the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 19th minute, Francis Aberle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 21 minutes into the match, Fire Devils's goalkeeper Walter Fransson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mieszko Niemojewski. After 25 minutes of play, Illuminati's Julian Makowski made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Walter Fransson was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Fire Devils's zone, Mieszko Niemojewski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Walter Fransson came out of the goal and Mieszko Niemojewski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julian Makowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Walter Fransson made a huge save. In the 35th minute, Martial Schwersenz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fire Devils's Denis Lambrozzi got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Damian Wejta kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Illuminati's Remigiusz Sokolski shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 45th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Walter Fransson but with some difficulty. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Mieszko Niemojewski made the kick off in the second half. Damian Wejta hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. After 53 played minutes Fire Devils got a freekick which was hit by Dave Saenger. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Makowski in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Walter Fransson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 56th minute, Martial Schwersenz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Fire Devils's zone, Zbyszko Wincek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Walter Fransson came out of the goal and Zbyszko Wincek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Percy Paterson's late challenge caught a Illuminati's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Percy Paterson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 70th minute, Percy Paterson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fire Devils's Walter Fransson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zbyszko Wincek in the 74th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mieszko Niemojewski in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Walter Fransson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Mieszko Niemojewski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Walter Fransson was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Walter Fransson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mieszko Niemojewski in the 82nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Fire Devils's zone, Mieszko Niemojewski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Walter Fransson came out of the goal and Mieszko Niemojewski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 89th minute Mieszko Niemojewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walter Fransson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fire Devils were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
