Spectators: 7469 (Terracing: 5603, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cristiano Senna started the match with the kick off. Jardim América FC's Luan Ramos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Jardim América FC from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Cesar Ourente kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Luan Ramos. That made the score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Adrian Florin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yrigoyen.F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Adrian Florin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luan Ramos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Yrigoyen.F.C's Victorino Martino quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Iuri Sousa, made in the 12th minute of the game. Yrigoyen.F.C's Sebastian Odon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enio Mangueira in the 16th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Yrigoyen.F.C's Vladimiro Eron got a free kick in the 16th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Yrigoyen.F.C's zone, Anselmo Meireles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastian Odon came out of the goal and Anselmo Meireles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 21 minutes of play, Jardim América FC's Cristiano Senna made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sebastian Odon was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Cristiano Senna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jardim América FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristiano Senna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sebastian Odon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enio Mangueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 30th minute Enio Mangueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Odon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cesar Ourente got free with Luan Ramos in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sebastian Odon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enio Mangueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebastian Odon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristiano Senna went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cesar Ourente to strike the kick off in the second half. Yrigoyen.F.C's attentive Victorino Martino managed to snatch the ball when Iuri Sousa made a throw-in in the 54th minute of the game. A collision led to Yrigoyen.F.C getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Efrain Eduino hit a great ball. Sebastian Odon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Senna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimiro Eron in the 58th minute of play forced Jardim América FC's goalkeeper Luan Ramos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jardim América FC's attentive Luís Guilherme Salgado managed to snatch the ball when Efrain Eduino made a throw-in in the 61st minute of the game. Cesar Ourente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luan Ramos having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vladimiro Eron in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luan Ramos saved Jardim América FC from getting behind. 72 minutes in the game Efrain Eduino did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Adrian Florin. Luan Ramos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Florin, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Yrigoyen.F.C's Sebastian Odon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enio Mangueira in the 82nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Florin in the 86th minute of play forced Jardim América FC's goalkeeper Luan Ramos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastian Odon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enio Mangueira in the 87th minute. If Cesar Ourente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute, Jardim América FC's Aníbal Abraão seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Aníbal Abraão the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Jardim América FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Aníbal Abraão had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 95 minutes into the match, Jardim América FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nestor Checa came free, but Luan Ramos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Jardim América FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Jardim América FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
