A collision led to FC TraLaLa getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Leontin Medrea hit a great ball. If Ronaldinho de Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute, Sever Piţurcă got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ronaldinho de Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aristide Răduț having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 29 minutes, Filipe Travassos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 31 minutes into the game, Anton Macovei was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC TraLaLa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Internazionale-RS the free kick. When Paul Romeo came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the FC TraLaLa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paul Romeo couldn't finish the play. After 55 played minutes Internazionale-RS got a freekick which was hit by Celsinho Britto. Celsinho Britto's late challenge caught a FC TraLaLa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Celsinho Britto helped the player get up and apologised. In the 57th minute, Celsinho Britto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 58 played minutes, FC TraLaLa's Aurelian Marincean shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Filipe Travassos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC TraLaLa reached it. Filipe Travassos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paul Romeo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paul Romeo in the 66th minute of play forced Internazionale-RS's goalkeeper Filipe Travassos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filipe Travassos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paul Romeo in the 71st minute of play. During the 86th minute of the match Anton Macovei completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Anton Macovei a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Aristide Răduț showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorginho Soares, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Costin Mocanu during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The FC TraLaLa players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
