Costin Mocanu's late challenge caught a FC LEVSKI ОК's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Costin Mocanu helped the player get up and apologised. Aristide Răduț made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vanyo Kochev in the 13th minute of play. Chavdar Arabadzhiev made a great header on FC LEVSKI ОК's corner, it was just that FC TraLaLa's Aristide Răduț managed to reach the ball for a save. Zdravko Deninski took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aristide Răduț. Aristide Răduț dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. FC LEVSKI ОК's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Chavdar Arabadzhiev in the 39th minute. The corner led FC LEVSKI ОК's Chavdar Arabadzhiev to fire away a dangerous shot which Aristide Răduț despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Aristide Răduț made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vanyo Kochev in the 40th minute of play. Aristide Răduț showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zdravko Deninski, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paul Romeo to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zdravko Deninski in the 57th minute of play forced FC TraLaLa's goalkeeper Aristide Răduț to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bogdan Gogea didn't get a good kick on the ball. 74 minutes into the match, FC TraLaLa's goalkeeper Aristide Răduț had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vanyo Kochev. FC TraLaLa's Sever Piţurcă got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Vanyo Kochev came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the FC LEVSKI ОК fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vanyo Kochev couldn't finish the play. In the 96th minute, Anton Macovei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match was over FC LEVSKI ОК could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC TraLaLa throughout the match.
