Club Getafe Deportivo's Nicolao Sampil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vanyo Kochev in the 12th minute of play. The supporters of Club Getafe Deportivo booed when FC LEVSKI ОК was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stanyo Batoev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Belarmino Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Zheko Ananiev struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Nicolao Sampil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC LEVSKI ОК. Georgi Kushev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roldán Martinez in the 32nd minute of play. Georgi Kushev was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Roldán Martinez showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 36 minute of play. Georgi Kushev was a little too slow when Valdo Viejo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 40th minute. The score was now 3-1. Adán Villar hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Licerio Cano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vanyo Kochev got free with Nicolao Sampil in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, FC LEVSKI ОК's Nicolao Sampil threw himself towards the right post 76 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zdravko Deninski, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 81 played minutes FC LEVSKI ОК got a freekick which was hit by Zdravko Deninski.
