Spectators: 7510 (Terracing: 5633, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 150) Narciso Vilanova took the ball and in the 2 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Filipe Travassos. Filipe Travassos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After 7 minutes Internazionale-RS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eli De Paula who took care of the corner kick. Club Getafe Deportivo's Eli De Paula was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Filipe Travassos in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Valdo Viejo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Filipe Travassos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Club Getafe Deportivo booed when Internazionale-RS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celsinho Britto didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Club Getafe Deportivo's Eli De Paula tried to score from far away in the 17th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 20 minutes into the match, Internazionale-RS's goalkeeper Filipe Travassos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Licerio Cano. A collision led to Internazionale-RS getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Rodrigo Magalhães hit a great ball. Club Getafe Deportivo's Nicolao Sampil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Santana in the 29th minute of play. Dino de Toledo struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Nicolao Sampil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Internazionale-RS. The audience thought a goal was coming when Licerio Cano got free with Filipe Travassos in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Filipe Travassos was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Licerio Cano showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 36 minute of play. Internazionale-RS's Filipe Travassos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roldán Martinez in the 45th minute of play. Jorginho Soares kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Licerio Cano was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Roldán Martinez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Filipe Travassos was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Internazionale-RS's Filipe Travassos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roldán Martinez in the 65th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Valdo Viejo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Licerio Cano during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Club Getafe Deportivo's Belarmino Castro got a free kick in the 71st minute. After 72 played minutes, Internazionale-RS's Celsinho Britto shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nicolao Sampil came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Internazionale-RS reached it. Filipe Travassos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narciso Vilanova in the 76th minute of play. In the 77th minute of the match Club Getafe Deportivo got a corner. Internazionale-RS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eli De Paula ran over to the corner to take the kick. The audience was convinced that Roldán Martinez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Filipe Travassos was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Nicolao Sampil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldinho de Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zarando Redondo's late challenge caught a Internazionale-RS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zarando Redondo helped the player get up and apologised. Bruno Santana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 92 minutes into the game, Club Getafe Deportivo's Valdo Viejo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Filipe Travassos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Club Getafe Deportivo were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Internazionale-RS for a fine match.
