In the 2nd minute, Falcão Novaes fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Clemente Varela, passed just outside the right post. In the 4th minute, Dinei Peres left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MarquinhosEC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 7th minute, Celso Tepedino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 8th minute, Iuri Lago got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 11 played minutes Cambotinha EC got a freekick which was hit by Marcel Moreira. In the 16th minute, Marcos Boldrini ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Norberto Alvarenga was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Clemente Varela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Alvarenga in the 20th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Nicolas Alvarenga could shoot a difficult shot in the 22nd minute, which Clemente Varela however easily saved by the left post. Norberto Alvarenga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dinei Peres in the 23rd minute of the match. MarquinhosEC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rubinho Valle in the 24th minute. The corner led MarquinhosEC's Rubinho Valle to fire away a dangerous shot which Norberto Alvarenga despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Clemente Varela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Alvarenga in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute Celso Tepedino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemente Varela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Nicolas Alvarenga dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Clemente Varela, 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Celso Tepedino got free with Clemente Varela in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 35 minutes into the game, MarquinhosEC's Dinei Peres nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Norberto Alvarenga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. The supporters of Cambotinha EC booed when MarquinhosEC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Durvalino Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 39 minutes of play, Cambotinha EC's Nicolas Alvarenga made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Clemente Varela was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Dinei Peres managed to get in a good position for a shot. MarquinhosEC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dinei Peres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Norberto Alvarenga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Norberto Alvarenga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Boldrini in the 45th minute of the match. Nicolas Alvarenga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
Célio Matorins short, quick shot in the 56thth minute got Norberto Alvarenga to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Falcão Novaes in the 58th minute of play forced MarquinhosEC's goalkeeper Clemente Varela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. MarquinhosEC's Clemente Varela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Alvarenga in the 60th minute of play. Marcos Boldrini took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Norberto Alvarenga. Norberto Alvarenga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. Clemente Varela stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicolas Alvarenga's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. In the 70th minute Marcos Boldrini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norberto Alvarenga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the game, Dinei Peres cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-5. Norberto Alvarenga was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Célio Matorin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Norberto Alvarenga came out and tried to block the shot, but Célio Matorin slotted it home off the left post making it 2-6 in the 75th minute. In the 81st match minute, MarquinhosEC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Loyola to maneuver through the defense. Nicolas Alvarenga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Clemente Varela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Celso Tepedino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dinei Peres got free with Norberto Alvarenga in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Celso Tepedino kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. In the 94th minute of the match MarquinhosEC got a corner. Cambotinha EC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rubinho Valle ran over to the corner to take the kick.
