But to his dismay, Alexandru Căliman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 5th minute Alexandru Căliman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alonzo Angellotti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, 1909 Tarnovia's goalkeeper Michal Szostak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Romildo Bórquez. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kilian Mbappè in the 9th minute of play forced 1909 Tarnovia's goalkeeper Michal Szostak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Michal Szostak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto Iriberry in the 22nd minute of play. When Alexandru Căliman came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the 1909 Tarnovia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexandru Căliman couldn't finish the play. Krzysztof Bulkiewicz kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After 31 played minutes, Ballet Azul's Danilo Quiroga shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Michal Szostak came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ballet Azul reached it. Danilo Quiroga kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Borys Majorski managed to get in a good position for a shot. 1909 Tarnovia's supporters rose to their feet, but Borys Majorski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alonzo Angellotti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 38 minutes into the match, Guido Durand notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of 1909 Tarnovia's Michal Szostak. Michal Szostak was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Borys Majorski kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Alonzo Angellotti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandru Căliman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zbyszko Topolski scored 3-2 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alonzo Angellotti, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Guido Durand to strike the kick off in the second half. Michal Szostak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kilian Mbappè, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josué Macaya in the 55th minute of play forced 1909 Tarnovia's goalkeeper Michal Szostak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Kilian Mbappè had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Michal Szostak. 1909 Tarnovia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kilian Mbappè was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. In the 59th minute, Romildo Bórquez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 1909 Tarnovia's Michal Szostak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kilian Mbappè in the 61st minute of play. Michal Szostak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kilian Mbappè in the 62nd minute of the match. With an all-out effort, 1909 Tarnovia's Alonzo Angellotti threw himself towards the right post 66 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zbyszko Topolski, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 67 minutes into the match, 1909 Tarnovia's goal looked a bit too open when Romildo Bórquez came free, but Michal Szostak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute, Ballet Azul's Lino Varletta seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Lino Varletta the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Ballet Azul protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Lino Varletta had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, Ballet Azul's Lino Varletta got a free kick in the 89th minute. After 91 minutes Ballet Azul's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zbyszko Topolski who took care of the corner kick. The corner led 1909 Tarnovia's Zbyszko Topolski to fire away a dangerous shot which Alonzo Angellotti despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of Ballet Azul booed when 1909 Tarnovia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Krzysztof Bulkiewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Ballet Azul had won after a very even match.
