The supporters of Atlético Arenillas booed when EL CORTO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Martxot didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 13 minutes, John Cadenas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atlético Arenillas and the EL CORTO FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 13th match minute, Atlético Arenillas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by John Cadenas to maneuver through the defense. Asencio Ecija took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dante Calvet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. EL CORTO FC were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after Atlético Arenillas's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Damian Firmo took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Damian Firmo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Asencio Ecija quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Lucas Martxot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Asencio Ecija tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chiriboga Falcon kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Asencio Ecija showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dante Calvet in the 22nd minute of the match. Dante Calvet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dante Calvet couldn't finish the play. 0-1 became the score in the 32nd minute when Dante Calvet elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Valentine Yepes made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, EL CORTO FC's Arnaldo Gaizko got a free kick in the 50th minute. Dante Calvet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Asencio Ecija having to interfere. Atlético Arenillas's Asencio Ecija played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dante Calvet in the 63rd minute of play. Dante Calvets short, quick shot in the 66thth minute got Asencio Ecija to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Chiriboga Falcon kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. After 68 minutes of play, EL CORTO FC's Dante Calvet made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Asencio Ecija was left in no man's land by his defense there! Edelmiro Brais hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Osvaldo Cabada kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Lucas Martxot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Asencio Ecija made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Roman Aznaro sent off a good shot on target. Chiriboga Falcon kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Dante Calvet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Asencio Ecija made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dante Calvet in the 84th minute. Asencio Ecija acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 92nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Felix Aguilera. Fausto Abadia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentine Yepes in the 94th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético Arenillas's zone, Dante Calvet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Asencio Ecija came out of the goal and Dante Calvet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. EL CORTO FC played a much better game than Atlético Arenillas and deserved their victory. The Atlético Arenillas players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
