A very good chance. 20 minutes into the match, Alejandro Silban notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Celtic FC's Angelo Quico. Emilio Madaleno ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И's corner Emilio Madaleno fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Angelo Quico quite easily take care of the ball. Angelo Quico stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alejandro Silban's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Celtic FC's zone, Alejandro Silban stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelo Quico came out of the goal and Alejandro Silban tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Emilio Madaleno made the kick off in the second half. Cleto Papo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 50th playminute. Manos Uchiha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vinicio Nuno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Angelo Quico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejandro Silban in the 55th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejandro Silban in the 63rd minute of play forced Celtic FC's goalkeeper Angelo Quico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И were awarded a corner. Emilio Madaleno went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Emilio Madaleno almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Celtic FC's Angelo Quico did a great save. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Alejandro Silban managed to get in a good position for a shot. R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И's supporters rose to their feet, but Alejandro Silban was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angelo Quico breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cleto Papo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Manos Uchiha made a huge save. After having played for 80 minutes, Braulio Llanos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Celtic FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Braulio Llanos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Angelo Quico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Madaleno in the 81st minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Emilio Madaleno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Cleto Papo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
