Spectators: 7468 (Terracing: 5602, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 149) Constantin Aluneanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cleto Papo's shot from short distance in the 2nd minute. In the 5thth minute of the game Vinicio Nuno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fc S.Zaharesti's Constantin Aluneanu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 6 minutes, Manole Aanicăi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fc S.Zaharesti and the Celtic FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 6th match minute, Fc S.Zaharesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manole Aanicăi to maneuver through the defense. When Braulio Llanos fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Celtic FC's protests and gave Braulio Llanos a yellow card for diving instead. In the 8th match minute, Celtic FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Braulio Llanos to maneuver through the defense. Angelo Quico made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marin Claudiescu in the 9th minute. In the 10th minute, Paolo Ekialde hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18th minute, Cleto Papo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Celtic FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Constantin Aluneanu came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Celtic FC's Cleto Papo. But to his dismay, Cleto Papo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Constantin Aluneanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Braulio Llanos in the 29th minute of play. Braulio Llanos kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Niceto Naldo hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After 43 played minutes Celtic FC got a freekick which was hit by Vinicio Nuno.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cleto Papo made a kick off. Angelo Quico didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ion Oloieru went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Celtic FC's Niceto Naldo got a free kick in the 57th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vinicio Nuno in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Constantin Aluneanu saved Fc S.Zaharesti from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marin Claudiescu in the 71st minute of play forced Celtic FC's goalkeeper Angelo Quico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fc S.Zaharesti's Constantin Aluneanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Fc S.Zaharesti from getting a goal against them. Manuel Bălanescu hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. The long shot by Jesus Jon in the 84th minute really tested Constantin Aluneanu's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Cleto Papo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constantin Aluneanu having to interfere. In the 92nd match minute, Fc S.Zaharesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manole Firu to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Celtic FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
