In the 2nd minute of the match Olivér Cselényi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Betão de Moraes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Betão de Moraes came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Szombathely Squirrels's Mihály Földesi. But to his dismay, Mihály Földesi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Zsolt Vörös sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 9th minute, Mihály Földesi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Betão de Moraes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After 12 minutes, Mihály Földesi made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. 20 de Março FC's Betão de Moraes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Olivér Cselényi hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. 17 minutes into the match, Szombathely Squirrels's goal looked a bit too open when Rafinha Fernandez came free, but Róbert Kormos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute, János Major hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Szombathely Squirrels's zone, Rafinha Fernandez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Róbert Kormos came out of the goal and Rafinha Fernandez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zsolt Vörös kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 28th minute Mihály Földesi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Betão de Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 de Março FC's Betão de Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihály Földesi in the 33rd minute of play. Zsolt Vörös received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Betão de Moraes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, 20 de Março FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zsolt Vörös came free, but Betão de Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Betão de Moraes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mihály Földesi, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 45th minute Zsolt Vörös shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Betão de Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the 20 de Março FC defense, Mihály Földesi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Betão de Moraes. The 20 de Março FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Betão de Moraes should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Mihály Földesi made the kick off in the second half. Betão de Moraes made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Mihály Földesi sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mihály Földesi in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Betão de Moraes saved 20 de Março FC from getting behind. 55 minutes into the match, 20 de Março FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zsolt Vörös came free, but Betão de Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dénes Boross could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Betão de Moraes made a huge save. Betão de Moraes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mihály Földesi, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Dénes Boross succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-7 in the 65th playminute. In the 68th minute, Dénes Boross made a precise shot to the right of Betão de Moraes. 20 de Março FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-8. Mihály Földesi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Betão de Moraes having to interfere. Betão de Moraes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mihály Földesi's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Dénes Boross was extremely unlucky when he, in the 76th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Zsolt Vörös had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute, Almir de Amorim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute, Mihály Földesi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Szombathely Squirrels fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-9. After a rather tough play, Szombathely Squirrels's Dénes Boross got a free kick in the 89th minute. Betão de Moraes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zsolt Vörös in the 97th minute.
